Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC is reportedly launching the dual-SIM variant of the company's flagship handset HTC One in India.

The Indian arm of the company has listed the new HTC One dual-SIM variant with a tag reading 'Coming Soon', hinting that the launch is just around the corner. However, HTC is still tight-lipped on the actual date of release as well as the price details.

With this announcement, India becomes third major market to receive the new HTC One dual-SIM variant after Russia and China.

Apart from boasting two SIM slots, another noticeable feature of new HTC One model is that it comes with 16GB memory which can be expanded up to 64GB through micro-SD card. On other hand, the single-SIM sibling comes with 32GB storage space with no microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Under the hood, it packs a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. Other striking feature of HTC device that sets apart from its rival is that it houses an innovative 2.0-ultra pixel main camera which is capable of absorbing up to 300 percent more light than any other camera phone in the industry to give a high-quality crisp snapshots even under low light environment. The smartphone features a 2.1-megapixel camera on the front side. Both the cameras can record full HD 1080p video.
