Hrithik Roshan and "Dhoom 3" director Vijay Krishna Acharya (Viktor) collaboration will reportedly take time.

After working together in "Dhoom 2", Hrithik and Viktor were supposed to reunite for Yash Raj Films' "Thug". But Hrithik's next project with father Rakesh Roshan has postponed YRF's "Thug" film.

Hrithik was supposed to start shooting for "Thug" from early January, but the actor decided to shoot his father Rakesh's home production film first. Sanjay Gupta will direct Rakesh's home production and it reportedly features Kareena Kapoor Khan.

"The film was to start in January 2016, but now will start only in April. Hrithik wanted to prepone his dad Rakesh Roshan's home production directed by Sanjay Gupta as he loved how the script has developed. Thug is said to be inspired from Johnny Depp's character Jack Sparrow from the Pirates Of The Caribbean series and will be shot on a specially-constructed ship at YRF Studios," a source told DNA, according to BollywoodLife.com.

Hrithik's one of the biggest hits "Dhoom 2" was produced by Yash Raj Films and it was written by Viktor. "Thug" will be Hrithik, YRF and Viktor's second project together.

Meanwhile, Hrithik is currently busy shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro". Hrithik is working on the last schedule of the film and will reportedly finish the shooting of the film by the end of this month.
