If latest rumours from tinsel town are to be believed then Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing screen space in Farhan Akhtar's next venture.

Though no formal announcement has been made, it is said that Hrithik will do a cameo in the untitled project that will jointly be produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani under their production banner Excel Entertainment.

Ranbir will be playing the lead role in the film, while details of the female lead and the rest of the cast remain undecided. It is rumoured that the film will go on floors next year.

While Ritesh Sidhwani restrained from making a comment about the film except that "Nothing has been finalized," a source close to the project said, "Excel will soon make an official announcement about the film that will go on floors sometime next year. Ranbir and Hrithik are very good friends who've never had the chance to work together before. Finally, it's happening."

The film will bring Hrithik, who is popularly called the Greek god of Bollywood, and chocolate boy Ranbir Kapoor for the first time on screen.

Hrithik is presently shooting for his home production "Krrish 3" which is the third installment of science fiction film "Koi... Mil Gaya" released in 2003. Apart from Hrithik, "Krrish 3" also stars Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles.

On the other hand, Ranbir has two films to be released in 2013. He will be seen opposite Deepika Padukone in Ayan Mukerji's "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" (YJHD) and Abhinav Kashyap's "Besharan". "YJHD" will hit the screens on 31 May while "Besharam" is slated to release on 3 October.
