Bollywood Greek god Hrithik Roshan has been rumoured to have been roped in to play the lead in "Aashiqui 3" since long.
While he has featured in the remake of 90s "Aashqui" song 'Dheere Dheere Se' with Sonam Kapoor, the possiblity of him doing the third sequel is quite high.
In the launch event of the song on Tuesday, the "Bang Bang" actor responded in a smart way when asked whether he is starring in the third part or not.
Apparently, a reporter asked producer Bhushan Kumar that who would star opposite Hrithik in "Aashiqui 3". Despite of answering, the Roshan lad asked the audience, "Aashiqui 3? You want me to do it? Ok I'll think about it"
However, Kumar hesitated to reply but Hrithik came to the rescue and said, "Let him think, give him sometime"
As of now, no confirmation has been made by him or the makers, but earlier rumours milled that he might feature in the film with Deepika Padukone.
In other news, during the song launch, the actor said that he wants to work with Sonam Kapoor in a movie. Is it an indication that the duo will star in "Aashiqui 3"?
However, the 1990 "Aashiqui" was a super hit back then, which featured Rahul, Anu Aggarwal and Deepak Tijori in pivotal roles.
The Mahesh Bhatt directorial was a blockbuster mostly because of the film's songs, which are still loved by people.
Considering the popularity of the romantic-musical flick, the sequel starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor was made in 2013, and its songs also proved to be a super hit.
Meanwhile, the remake song, "Dheere Dheere", has been topping the charts. The voice of Honey Singh and chemistry of Hrithik and Sonam has already made the song a trending topic on social media websites.
It will be awe-inspiring to watch the "Mohenjo Daro" actor and the "Khoobsurat" actress in the third sequel as well.
