"How to Get Away with Murder" fans are likely to meet the person who received the last message of Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay) in "Eggs 911 Lawyer's House" in season 2 of the ABC series.

The character is not just expected to bring a new twist to the case about the murder of the drug dealer but also add to the nightmares in Professor Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and her associates' lives.

A new report suggests that "The Vampire Diaries" alum Kendrick Sampson will be appearing in the premiere episode of the upcoming season, according to Deadline.

Although the character details of the celeb have been kept under wraps, speculations suggest that he could be the mysterious friend of Findlay's character whom she contacted while she was in house arrest at the Professor's house .

Earlier, creator Pete Nowalk stated that a new cast member will be joining the team to play a prominent role in Annalise's life. So, it remains to be seen how Sampson's character will take the defence attorney and her associates on a roller coaster ride.

Meanwhile, Findlay teased through Twitter that Sutter will be appearing in season 2 of the crime drama. "I work with the nicest people on the planet," she wrote.

The post sparked speculations about the character's death but Nowalk has already revealed that the sequel will mainly revolve around the crime and viewers can expect lot of flashback and flash forward sequences in the show.

"How to Get Away with Murder" fans can mark their calendars to watch season 2 premiere on Thursday, 24 September, at 10 pm to know more about the sequel.
