Honda Cars India launched its highly-anticipated BR-V SUV in the country on May 5 with a price range starting at Rs. 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The initials in BR-V, Honda's first compact SUV in India, stand for Bold Runabout Vehicle.

Offered in both petrol and diesel engine options, the BR-V is available in 4 grades — E, S, V and VX with manual transmission. Under the hood, the SUV carries 1.5L i-VTEC petrol and 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engines. Inside the cabin, the SUV gets an all-black colour theme interior with a 3-row cabin. The silver accents and piano-black finish on the instrument panel further enhance the interiors. It features a 3D speedometer with multi-information display, leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel, and gear knob. The seat in the second row features a 60:40 split with slide and recline options while the seat in the third row is a 50:50 spilt folding type which can be reclined further.
