Raipur, Dec 3 (ANI): Home Minister, Rajnath Singh paid homage to 14 paramilitary personnel of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) killed in the deadly Maoists attack and announced compensation for the bereaved families. Maoist guerrillas ambushed a paramilitary patrol in Chhattisgarh on December 01 in the biggest rebel attack this year. The attack took place in remote Sukma district, in the jungle of Chhattisgarh, where members of the CRPF had been sent to flush the rebels out of their base. Singh said that though the loss caused by this incident was irreparable but the injured and the families of the victims will be given compensation by the government. Singh also said that the country needs to come together to face the challenge of red terror.
