This year's highest-grossing Hollywood movies list is quite interesting as Deadline has noted that 2016 is the first year where not a single film in the list has a storyline based on reality or any real life people.

With an innumerable number of hits, the list reveals that Disney tops the list as most of its movies have grossed more than $1 billion. Then Warner Bros. Pictures follows Disney's footsteps with three movies in the list.

Here are the top 10 highest grossing movies of 2016.

Captain America: Civil War
