Akshay Kumar's action film "Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty" has crossed the ₹100 crore mark, but whether the film has shattered Salman Khan's "Jai Ho" lifetime collection records remains a mystery.

"Holiday" also starring Sonakshi Sinha has completed its 24 days at the domestic box office. In four weeks, the film accumulated ₹111.48 crore. After having non-stop two weeks run, "Holiday" faced competition from "Humshakals." But it was only after the release of "Ek Villain" the collection of "Holiday" went down drastically at the domestic box office.

The film was expected to break "Jai Ho" total collection record of ₹116 crore and become the highest grosser of the year.

While, Box Office India and Koimoi.com have reported that the film has emerged as the highest grosser of the year, but according to collections provided by Bollywood Hungama the film is yet to cross that mark.

"Holiday" total earnings stands at ₹111.25 crore after completing fourth weekend in India and
"Jai Ho" made a lifetime business of ₹111 crores at the box office, Koimoi.com reported.

"Holiday" has pushed down "Jai Ho" at the second spot to become the highest grosser, the trade website reported.

But according to Bollywood Hungama, "Jai Ho" lifetime total at the domestic box office stands at ₹116 crore, while "Holiday" has just crossed ₹111.48 crore. Kumar starrer requires more than ₹5 crore to become the top earner of 2014.

Whether or not the film has crossed "Jai Ho," it has certainly brought a relief at the box office as the collection centers witnessed dry spell due to IPL matches.

Meanwhile, the "Khiladi" Kumar is not concerned about the figures that his film has earned at the box office. He believes that the film is successful only when audience likes it.
