From India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, several famous personalities wished their followers and fans on the auspicious occasion of Holi via Twitter.

The key words, "Happy Holi" and "#शुभवैदिकहोली", is trending on social media on Friday. Scores of people took to their micro-blogging sites to post warm wishes on the festival of colours. 

Several celebs including Big B,  Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Juhi Chawla, Farhan Akhtar, Nimrat Kaur, along with President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, PM Modi, wished their fans through their social networking sites. 

Even as most of them are not celebrating the festival due to their busy schedule, they took took some time out to wish all Indians "Happy Holi".
