GaadiWaadi, which has also managed to capture the dispatch-ready Blue-shade Duet, reports that Hero has started shipping its new scooter to respective dealers ahead of its launch in the country. Hero Duet 110cc scooter, which was caught on camera before too, is speculated to hit showrooms floors before the festive season this year. The Duet will be followed by the launch of Hero's updated Maestro Model Edge.

Hero Duet, which will take on the likes of Honda Activa-i, is expected to get a price tag of around Rs 45,000 and will come with features like body-coloured mirrors and storage box in front. The Duet's V-shaped chrome-touch on the front is the highlight.

As for oily bits of Hero Maestro Edge, the 125cc scooter will be powered by an air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that can generate about 1bhp more than the current maestro version.

The engine is speculated to come mated to CVT (continuous variable transmission) and will be offered in two variants, with and without disc brake.
