Ever since the news of Barun Sobti making a comeback in the third season of hugely popular show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? made headlines, fans of the television heartthrob are excited to watch the actor on the small screen once again and that too in the much loved franchise that gained him the popularity that he enjoys today.

However, many ardent fans are bashing the producer Gul Khan for replacing Barun's Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? co-star Sanaya Irani with another actress in the new season.
That Shivani Tomar will be seen romancing Barun in the third season of the show, hasn't gone down well with Barun-Sanaya fans. It is a well known fact that Barun and Sanaya's chemistry in the first season was the highlight of the show and the on-screen couple was loved by millions.
Such was the craze for the on-screen couple that Barun's exit from the first season resulted in the show losing its Television Rating Points (TRPs) and eventually going off air. The second season, which didn't see either Barun or Sanaya and actors Shrenu Parikh and Avinash Sachdeva played the lead roles, also failed to woo the audience.
Now, Gul has been bashed with derogatory comments for having roped in new actress opposite Barun in the upcoming season. Gul, however, isn't worried about such comments and is looking forward to entertain the audience with a new story in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? 3.
Talking about the same, Gul told India Forums: "What can I say about the hate trolls! It's a bunch of faceless nameless people threatening you hiding behind fake names and false id's with no courage to come out in the open. Obviously, with the language they use and the class they reflect in their words, they wouldn't want their parents and families to see their real faces. I don't think it's worth our time! Let's talk about the show! It's a brand that we are taking forward and I am sure all the true fans of Sobti will watch it!"
It remains to be seen if Barun and Shivani manage to create the same magic in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? 3 like that of Barin-Sanaya in the first season.
