Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra finally broke her silence on suicide claims made by her ex-manager Prakash Jaju. After her mom Madhu Chopra slammed Prakash for making such comments, the "Quantico" actress blamed the media for giving credibility to Prakash's tweets.
After television actress Pratyusha Banerjee's death, Prakash tweeted that Priyanka tried to kill herself several times during her struggling period. "PC may look very strong now but she was also very vulnerable in struggling days, tried to commit suicide 2-3 times but i managed to stop her," he had tweeted.

"This is utter... First of all, it's so sad that Indian media has given credibility to the man, who was in jail because of harassing me, without checking the history who the person is. So, I have nothing to say because there is no credibility to this person, who media is giving credibility to," Priyanka, who was recently in India to receive Padma Shri, told the Press Trust of India when asked regarding the issue.
Priyanka stated in her comment that one should have checked Prakash's history. The actress' ex-manager spent 67 days in jail after the actress' parents filed a police complaint alleging he was harassing her by sending her obscene messages.
Things turned ugly between Priyanka and Prakash a few years ago when the latter was reportedly fired from his job on allegations that he had harassed the actress. He then alleged that Priyanka had fired him on false allegations and did not pay him his dues.
However, this is not the first time that Prakash is tweeting about Priyanka. He had earlier claimed that the "Bajirao Mastani" actress had an affair with a married actor and also tweeted that it was Priyanka's father who had framed him by sending the obscene messages to the actress' phone by using an application.
"Ek din ek hero ki MIL ne mujhe phn par baahut gaaliyan di 'Apni us r..d heroine ko samjha meri daughter ke husband ke piche padi hai'. Maine Pc ki mom ko bola ki pc ko samjhao. Pc ki maa pc ko samjhanaa toh door ulta mujhe boli 'who MIL kaunsi doodh ki dhooli hui hai' :) [sic]," he had tweeted earlier.
