Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are probably the last of the superstars. In today's time, everyone who has a verified social media account is a star, but the Khans rose to fame at a time when star power was measured with the number of weeks a film ran at the theatres.
Discussing superstardom with Anupama Chopra on Beneath The Surface, Shah Rukh said that the three never talk about the kind of success they have achieved in life. What made them realise the success though was Salman's analysis that at their age, people plan retirement whereas they get to continue with what they are doing right now.
Moving on to a different topic, SRK said that the kind of profession they are all in, it is tough to make time for gatherings. Also, the gossip around such meetings bothers him.
"I will be very honest, if you are in field of work that we are and if you aren't late sleepers like me or Salman, you would hardly get time to even meet each other. If we meet each other too often, people say 'May be you are having a relationship' and the one last rumour I want hear is that 'I am in a relationship with Salman' because that's the only thing left to be said or written about," he told Chopra.
Shah Rukh continued that because Salman too is a night person, they find time to hang out easily. Whereas, Aamir is strict about routines and isn't up beyond 9 pm.
In other news, Shah Rukh may appear on Bigg Boss 10 the week after to promote Dear Zindagi alongside Alia Bhatt. However, this is all a speculation at this point and those interested must await an official announcement.
