Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez both are non-Hindi speakers, thus, the latter has bagged a few roles that Katrina rejected. "Kick" and "Roy" were reportedly first offered to the "Fitoor" actress, but she turned it down after which it went to the Sri Lankan beauty.

"Both the girls are very hard working, very professional, completely focused and ruthlessly ambitious. They also have a similar personality profile, you know firangi, non-Hindi speaking. So the roles that would have by right gone to Katrina, specially with Salman, went to Jacqueline," SKJ Bollywood News quoted a prominent producer as saying.

"But by then she was involved with Ranbir Kapoor. Salman and Katrina had mutually decided not to work together. Then Katrina also decided she won't work with Ranbir in 'Roy.' That too went to Jacqueline, a flop but the actress was noticed," he added.

After "Kick," Jacqueline's film career took a turn and since then, the actress' kitty has been replete with movie offers. During the filming of "Kick," rumour had it that Jacqueline and Salman were dating. Similarly, it had been reported that the "Brothers" actress replaced Katrina in Salman's home production flick as well.

"Dostana" fame director Tarun Mansukhani is set to helm a film under Salman's production and it will reportedly feature Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline. The movie will be jointly produced by the "Sultan" actor and Karan Johar.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline and Katrina are busy with their respective projects. Jacqueline will be next seen in Rohit Dhawan's "Dishoom" and Remo D'Souza's "A Flying Jatt." The actress will also make her debut on television as a judge of dance reality show, "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" Season 9.

On the other hand, Katrina will next be seen in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos" opposite ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. She will also appear in Nitya Mehra's "Baar Baar Dekho" alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
