After the first song "Matargashti", the makers of Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer "Tamasha" released a new song in quick succession.

Titled "Heer Toh Badi Sad Hai", the song is a Punjabi number and is picturised on the lead pair. In the video, Ranbir is seen singing for Deepika, who is visibly upset apparently because of a heartbreak.

Composed by music maestro A R Rahman and sung by Mika Singh, "Heer Toh Badi Sad Hai" brings Mika and Rahman together for the first time.

"Rahman sir came up with Mika's name. I knew that something unusual is going to happen now. It was the quickest recording in the album. We had a lot of fun. Hope the audience has the same experience," director Imtiaz Ali said in a statement, reported IANS.

"Tamasha" will see Ranbir as a nomad, who wanders from place to place and on one such trip to Corsica, meets the character played by Deepika. The duo then decides to explore the French island together.

The film will bring ex-lovers Ranbir and Deepika back on-screen, after the duo starred in blockbuster "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" (2013).

Produced by Shajid Nadiadwala, "Tamasha" is slated to be released on 27 November.
