TV anchor-turned-actor Ayushmann Khurrana's fourth outing "Hawaizaada" has hit the screens on 30 January and garnered mixed reviews from the film goers.
"Hawaizaada" has been written and directed by Vibhu Puri. The movie is set in Mumbai in 1895. It is based on the life of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who is credited to have constructed India's first unmanned plane. Ayushmann Khurrana, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Sharda have played the lead roles in the film.
Vibhu Puri's interesting script, lead actors' performances, melodious songs, amazing background score, Savita Singh's brilliant cinematography, beautiful art work, locales and costumes are the main attractions of "Hawaizaada". But despite having all these stuffs, the movie fails to impress and the reason is slow paced narration, say some viewers.

#Hawaizaada premise : an indian made the first plane and flew from #juhu #fact story set in the early 1900s so u think period film hmm. thats where thngs go downhill especially the #cgi the #chroma and the sets tacky ur used to #SLB oppulence so u compare #Hawaizaada. the first half is breezy with #ayushmaan trying his best to weave the story around his character and #mithunda (very hammy) the film fails to take off , not enough excitement for the #flight enthusiast like me and the characters tried to hard to #ACT. #ayushmaan has enough charm in that smile of his to carry him in bollyood sadly this film needed #PACE #BUDGET to make it work. but i was rather dissapointed with #pallavisharda , hot but dnt think suited the role id rather see her as a #charliesangel. #Hawaizaada didnt work for me on many fronts and i walk away dissapointed - hope the box office proves me wrng.
