Hashtaag may be just a few months old, but it has come a long way to become a known entity in India's mobile app developing world. Adding a feather in its cap, the company has now been ranked among the top app development companies in Bengaluru by Clutch.co, a company known for identifying leading software and professional services firms that deliver results for their clients.

The ranking by Clutch.co is based on several qualitative and quantitative factors, so being able to make it to the list of top mobile app developers in the "niche" section in The Leaders Matrix tells how far Hashtaag has come in less than a year.

"It is a big achievement for us to have been listed among the top app developers by Clutch.co, in just one year of starting Hashtaag. It shows the kind of efforts Hashtaag is putting towards delivering the best in the industry and ensuring maximum client satisfaction. We are constantly working to raise the bar for mobile app development in India and globally," said Jayavardhan B N, Hashtaag CEO and co-founder.

Jayavardhan told International Business Times, India that it was a "roller-coaster ride with ups and downs" when he and Krishna Vemula started Hashtaag almost a year ago. They would initially meet clients and investors, helping them understand what a problem and solution statement would be. Today, it has spread far and wide with offices in a few Indian cities and abroad.

"Right now, we're a team of 50+ people and we're aiming to be the global leaders in OPD, Mobile app development, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine learning space," Jayavardhan added.

It is a mobile app development partner of apps like Doors, Shouut, Paperboy, FaceChat, Curiocty, and Logoon.

What is the secret behind Hashtaag's success?

"At Hashtaag, we believe in goals of an entrepreneur & understand what he/she is trying to challenge or solve. Since it's a cash flow positive business, I believe we're ahead of the race in building products companies who're coming to us. Our niche though is always, ideation, conceptualisation, implementation, iteration, user feedback, and scalability," said the company's CEO.

Jayavardhan sees huge scope in mobile app development industry in India as they build products with high quality.

"We are doing $2.4 million run rate currently and growing the revenue at 35 percent MOM. Looking at projects in pipeline, we expect to do so for next six months. We expect to grow 30 percent MOM and 25 percent MOM in the following two years, which will generate revenue of $7 million by the end of 2017," he said.

Complimenting his view, a report by Deloitte has said that India would become the largest hub for mobile app developers by 2017, and Gartner has also predicted that many organisations will increase spending on mobile app development by an average of 31 percent this year.
