A quick look at the Haseeno Ka Deewana song from Kaabil will make you think probably Urvashi Rautela was selected for the number because she has some great moves and an infectious screen presence. But, director Sanjay Gupta had a different reason to cast her.

When asked by DNA why he roped in Rautela for the job, Gupta said he has never cast established actresses for such numbers. Gupta has always picked new talent and presented them in a way that made them memorable.

"I shot Ishq Samandar with Isha Koppikar, Maahi Ve with Malaika Arora and Saaki Saaki with Koena Mitra, when they weren't as known. We were the first to do a song with Sunny Leone with Laila in Shootout At Wadala. I have always picked new talent and presented them. None of these actresses were launched with these songs. We just came along and revamped the person and presented them in my own way. Those songs are still remembered today," Gupta elaborated.

Setting up the rehashed version of Saara Zamana, a song that Amitabh Bachchan made popular with his lit-up clothes, was a challenging feat. The team had arranged for lights that would make a similar impact. "When we shot our version, we booked every single light available for shooting to create a similar impact on our set. Urvashi was nervous as hell, but she gave it her all," the director added.

Scheduled to be released on January 25, Kaabil will see lead stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam play a visually-impaired couple. Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy have played negative parts in the crime-thriller film.
