Caity Lotz is all set to reprise her role of Sara Lance / White Canary from "Arrow" in DC's upcoming television series "Legends of Tomorrow", and as she celebrates her 29th birthday today, it definitely came as a good news for both her and her fans.

The series will debut on 21 January, 2016, and will consist of a number of DC characters who have already been introduced in other DC shows.

Even though the romantic relationship between Sara and Oliver Queen was already established in "Arrow", there is a significant possibility that White Canary will be reintroduced as Black Canary in "Legends of Tomorrow".

In the comic books, Black Canary has always been a long-time romantic interest of Green Arrow, and they eventually marry, too. Given that the show will be based on new personalities of familiar superheroes, Lotz might get a makeover too.

It would be interesting to see Lotz as Black Canary as the characters of White Canary and Black Canary are significantly different from each other, and hopefully Lotz will meet the expectations.

The crossover event between "The Flash" and "Arrow" aired earlier this month and showcased a number of new characters, besides introducing a new villain named Vandal Savage, portrayed by Casper Crump.

According to the synopsis of the episode, the show will follow the journey of Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), who is a time traveller embarked upon a mission to recruit a team of heroes and villains to fight Savage.

Not much has been revealed of the plot yet, except that Savage is immortal and finishing him won't be an easy job for these heroes.

The newly released trailer reveals a new costume inspired by the comic book series of the same name for the character of Firestorm. There is another villain seen in it, whose identity has been kept a mystery.

It will be interesting to watch all the DC heroes from television unite and return in "Legends of Tomorrow", and like all the other shows, hopefully "Legends" will also do justice to the beloved characters.
