Guwahati, July 26 (ANI): Union Minister for Sports Sarbananda Sonowal congratulated Indian players for bringing medals to the nation in the 2014 Commonwealth games in Glasgow. He congratulated all the players who have won the medals and was looking forward to more medals in the forthcoming events. On Manipur’s exceptional performance in the games, he acknowledged the role of PM Narendra Modi in creating a sporting environment in the northeast region. Earlier today, President Pranab Mukherjee in individual messages congratulated and wished the players further success in the future. So far, India has bagged 3 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 3 Bronze medals.
