Pakistan, Sept 09 (ANI): Jamaat-u-Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed blamed India for causing deadly flooding in Pakistan by deliberately diverting waters from dams in Jammu and Kashmir. Both the Indian and Pakistani sides have been ravaged by floods that have killed at least 239 people as rivers burst their banks after heavy monsoon rains. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently cancelled high-level peace talks and accused Pakistan of fighting a "proxy war", was more conciliatory in a letter to his Pakistani counterpart, Nawaz Sharif, on September 07. Saeed said the offer was a crude joke with Pakistanis.
