Mumbai/ Allahabad, March 08 (ANI): The lead actors of Bollywood film "Gulaab Gang" breathed a sigh of relief as a day prior to International Women's Day, an Indian court cleared its way to open in cinemas, after it was put on hold over allegations that the film was based on a similar- named real-life Women's Rights Organisation in India. Sampat Pal Devi, leader of the "Gulabi Gang" — a group of vigilantes wearing pink saris who act on complaints of domestic violence and dowry demands — had moved court against the movie. Pal accused the film-makers of basing the movie on her life without her permission. Welcoming the decision, one of the lead actresses, Juhi Chawla said that it was very difficult for the actors with such a controversy surrounding the film.
