Vadodara, Oct 08 (ANI): On the occasion of the ongoing nine-day long Hindu festival of Navaratri, enthusiastic dancers from various states visited Vadodara to participate in the Garba, the traditional dance form that represents the mixed culture and heritage of the country. ‘Garba’, the typical dance form which originated from Gujarat, is performed around a centrally lit lamp or a statue of Goddess Durga. The progress of the dance is in concentric circular pattern. The occasion also witnessed native folk singers and dancers performing the traditional music for ‘Garba’, playing traditional drums and instruments.
