Legendary actor Al Pacino has dropped a major hint about his presence in one of the Marvel movies. The actor reportedly had a meeting with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and it is speculated that he may very well star in the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."

"I've met with the Marvel guy [Feige], it's a marvel how things happen. I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me," the actor said to Happy Sad Confused podcast.

The actor is a big fan of "Guardians of Galaxy" movie and when the movie was released, he had nothing, but praise for the film. He even said the movie has a Shakespearean tone and he was really impressed with the 70's music. His love for the movie has led to speculations that he may star in the sequel.

"I was really impressed, especially with that 70's music... it's amazing, and inventive, and funny, and dark and deep. It was just inventive, funny, strong, the production of it, the ingenuity of it. Why wouldn't I like a movie like that, appreciate a movie like that," he said in the praise of the movie to MTV.

Meanwhile, director James Gunn recently revealed that a whole new story is being written for the sequel. He even hinted that plot of the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," is powerful and strong. The sequel may not have much of new world, but will show the co-existence of the old and the new.

Moreover, the movie will provide a closer look at the things than giving a broader perspective of the setting. Gunn may also hand his directorial ability to other movies, apart from "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise.

"I haven't decided yet to be completely frank with you", he admitted. "I mean, I obviously love the Guardians, the Marvel cosmic universe. It means a lot to me. And there are other things out there as well. So I'm trying to figure that all out right now," as per Comicbookresources.

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will hit the theatres in May 2017.
