"Grimm" fans may still have to reel themselves from the shocking finale of season 4. But the cast and crew of the NBC series are currently preparing to take the viewers through a roller coaster of events in season 5.

The show ended with the death of two major characters from Nick Burkhardt's (David Giuntoli) life - his mother Kelly Kessler Burkhardt (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) and lady love Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch). But the two cast members could probably have important roles to play in the upcoming sequel.

While creator Jim Kouf revealed that the protagonist's mother will appear in flashback sequences, co-creator David Greenwalt repeatedly stated that his girlfriend is indeed dead and will not comeback in the fifth season.

But someone from the San Diego Comic-Con panel of "Grimm" immediately responded to Greenwalt's statement and said, "He speaks with forked tongue!" stated Zap2it.

The words have sparked some hopes in the minds of Tulloch fans and they believe that the actress will reprise her role in season 5.

However, followers of the supernatural drama will have to wait until Friday, 30 October, to know more about their favourite onscreen power couple.

Meanwhile, the viewers of NBC series can also expect to watch "Scream" actress Carlson Young in the show. She joined the cast list as a powerful female character named Selina Golias.

Young's character is described as a victim of never-ending Wesen feud. Golias will become "the target of a Wesen king" after she tries to hide a survivor from an attack, which killed her boyfriend, according to TV Line.
