According to the synopsis of the episode by TV.com, "An investigation into a Wesen with a terrifying appetite begins with the discovery of a man found dead with all of the bones in his body seemingly liquefied and removed. Meanwhile, Wu (Reggie Lee) has to handle a crisis; and Hank reconnects with an old flame."

Nick and Hank have been on the trail of the Wesen since last episode. The Wesen has developed an appetite of feeding on human bones and in order to satisfy his hunger, he kills several people. Now it is the duo's responsibility to hunt him down and put an end to his savagery.

Meanwhile, Wu will face an unexpected crisis and he will find it difficult to handle it all by himself. He needs help but currently, no one is there to assist him and he has to find a solution to it all by himself.

Elsewhere, Hank will be confronted by his ex-girlfriend that will leave him flabbergasted as he had never expected to meet her again in his life. However, Hank suspects that she is not herself and is acting strangely due to some unknown reasons.

Whether Nick and Hank will finally capture the Wesen and find about his secrets will be known only once "Good to the Bone" airs.

In the previous episode, titled "Inugami," local youths were in danger due to an ancient code of vengeance that had been adopted by a Japanese Wesen. Meanwhile, Adalind (Claire Coffee) crossed paths with Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) upon returning to work at her old law firm and they had an uncomfortable moment.
