Season 12 of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" is starting to wind down and according to spoilers doing the rounds, the future of more than one couple is uncertain.

Maggie and DeLuca, who have been hooking up these past few episodes, will reportedly realise they aren't meant to be a couple. Amelia will also be seen re-evaluating her romance with Owen.

Meredith, who finally decided to date Will in "Odd Man Out," will come to the conclusion that she isn't ready for a romance. According to the synopsis for "When It Hurts Too Bad," she will take a step forward in their relationship and immediately regrets it.

Talking about Meredith dating again, actress Ellen Pompeo told Cosmopolitan in February that she was happy with the direction her character is taking.

"We're moving toward Meredith dating again, so everyone has to get ready for it," Pompeo said. "I can tell you that I've shot a few scenes, although I don't know where they're going to go, but I have shot a few scenes, and I'm very happy and excited with the way this is unfolding. It's exciting for Meredith, and it's some happiness, some light. I hope we get to keep going to down that path."

Another relationship that's going to get some screentime is that of Bailey and her husband Ben's. According to actor Jason George, the rest of the season will explore how Bailey being the chief of surgery has affected their relationship. Although Ben supports Bailey, it isn't easy working in a hospital where his wife is the boss and his colleagues feel he got preferential treatment.

"Yeah, it's getting crazy. I will say that the conversation that started with Ben being a really good doctor and really good resident and a bold one, and how that impacts this relationship with his wife, who happens to be the Chief of Surgery — that's not done," George told Yahoo! TV. "That's going to get interesting. And I can't underline the word interesting enough."

"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays on ABC.
