If you have missed Top Gear, then you stop worrying about it right now because your favourite former Top Gear trio is back with a brand new series — The Grand Tour. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are hurtling towards the start of their new show, The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime.

Executive producer Andy Wilman revealed a sneak preview of the new series earlier in August. Ahead of The Grand Tour release, here's everything we know so far.

Release date

The Grand Tour with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will be released on Friday, November 18.

Has the filming started yet?

The first three episodes have already been shot till now while the first episode is shot in front of hundreds live audience. The second episode and the first studio recording of The Grand Tour took place in Johannesburg, South Africa on July 17, 2016.

How many episodes?

The presenters have signed up for 36 episodes spanning three years. The series will have a pack full of 12 adventurous episodes, which will be released week by week.

How to watch?

The series will release exclusively on Amazon Prime, so you'll need a subscription to watch.

When will it air?

It will air every Friday. The Grand Tour's executive producer Andy Wilman has always said he would prefer it to go out weekly as Top Gear did. "I don't think there's a box set binge thing to be had, because there's no threat, no plot," he said.

What can you expect from every episode?

Amazon has released information on the first three episodes in a media information pack. However, details about the rest of the series still remain under wrap. Here's what you are going to watch in the upcoming first three episodes.

Episode one: The Holy Trinity/November 18

According to a report by the Telegraph, the first episode shooting took place in the Dry Rabbit Lake in California, USA. Hundreds of fans travelled to the desert outside of Los Angeles, to witness the first ever episode of this grand show by Clarkson, Hammond and May.

Episode two: Operation Desert Stumble/ November 25

In this episode, the trio heads to Johannesburg in South Africa. They are forced to become special force soldiers with an all action challenge at a top secret training base, deep within Jordan.

Episode three: Opera, Arts, and Donuts/December 2

The English coastal town of Whitby is the next location of The Grand Tour team. From where Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May introduce a modern take on the traditional gentleman's tour of Italy. In this big-budget episode, Clarkson will be seen in an Aston Martin DB11 and May in a Rolls-Royce Dawn. The pair is set for a leisurely trip of culture and fine dining until a noisy and unwelcome guest arrives.
