New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): The government has accepted the resignation of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairperson Leela Samson. Samson had resigned following the clearance given by Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT) to Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's film, 'Messenger of God'. She had alleged interference, coercion and corruption of panel members and officers of the Board who are appointed by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. Meanwhile, 12 more members of the Board followed Samson's suggestion of quitting "en masse" and tendered their resignations on Saturday.
