Tollywood star Gopichand is not a bachelor anymore. The actor married Reshma, niece of actor Meka Srikanth, in a grand wedding ceremony held in Hyderabad on 12 May.

Popular celebrities from the film industry including Prabhas, Ravi Teja, Rajashekar and wife Jeevitha, Jagapathi Babu, Allu Arjun with wife Sneha Reddy, Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati, Siddharth, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Ali, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jayasudha, Nani with wife Anjana Yelavarthy and Allari Naresh graced the wedding reception and wished the couple. Several prominent members from the film industry, businessmen, political leaders including Telugu director-producer Raghavendra Rao, Ramoji Rao, "Eega" director S S Rajamouli, music composer M M Keeravani, and President of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chandra Babu Naidu also attended the event, which was held at the N-Convention Centre in Madhapur, Hyderabad. Gopichand and Reshma got engaged last December. The wedding ceremony took place in traditional style in the presence of family members.

Earlier, the sangeeth ceremony took place in a grammy award style. The place had a red carpet rolled out and a Grammy banner was placed at the entrance. Guests walked the red carpet and posed for the paparazzi before entering the premises to attend the event.

Gopichand danced to his hit number "Ae China, Raa Chinna" and bride-to-be Reshma joined him. Even actor Srikanth was spotted dancing to a mass number, reported The Times of India. With the marriage, both Gopichand and Srikanth have become related to each other. These two actors are from a non-filmy background and have achieved success through their hard work.

Gopichand, who was last seen in 2011 release "Mogudu", will be playing the role of an ATM security guard in his upcoming film "Sahasam". The film is likely to get released in the last week of May.

 Recently, the trailer of the film was unveiled on YouTube and the video fetched good response. Taapsee Pannu who was his heroine in "Mogudu" has been paired with the actor again. Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor dons the role of a villain. Directed by Chandra Shekhar Yelti, "Sahasam" is an action-adventure film set in the year 1947.
