Google unveiled its handset devices Pixel and Pixel XL on Tuesday night after months of speculation, and now it has announced their Indian pricing.

The search engine giant has announced that Pixel and Pixel XL will be up for pre-orders in India on October 13 with prices starting at Rs 57,000. The handsets are expected to hit Indian stores on October 20, like in other countries.

The announcement may disappoint Google smartphone fans who are used to its aggressive pricing. The Pixel 32GB model will be priced at Rs 57,000 ($649 / £599), while the 128GB model will come with a price tag of Rs 66,000 ($749 / £699). The Google Pixel XL 32GB model is priced at Rs 66,000 ($769 / £719) and the 128GB variant costs Rs 76,000 ($869 / £819).

Google Pixel sports a 5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (441 ppi pixel density). It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, an Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, a 32/128 GB internal memory, a 4 GB RAM, and a 2,770mAh battery with fast charging technology. It mounts a 12MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, 1/2.3" sensor size and 1.55µm pixel size, and an 8MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.2" sensor size and 1.4 µm pixel size.

On the other hand, the Pixel XL sports 5.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1,440x2,560 pixels (534 ppi pixel density), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, and run Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.

The device has a 32/128 GB internal memory, a 4 GB RAM, a 12MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, 1/2.3" sensor size and 1.55µm pixel size, an 8MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.2" sensor size and 1.4 µm pixel size, and a 3,450mAh battery with fast-charging technology.

Verizon, besides the Play Store, will bring the Pixel and Pixel XL to the US, while e-commerce giants like Best Buy, Flipkart, Rogers, Telus, Bell, Deutche Telekom, EE, and Telstra will release the handsets in other countries.
