Nexus 5, though not officially announced by developers (LG and Google), has been put for preorder by an online seller in India.
Without revealing the final price, e-retailer, Snapdeal has begun taking orders for the LG's recently unveiled Google Nexus 5 on its website. The firm says that the device(16GB model) is expected to release in the fourth week of November in India, and the delivery process will begin then.
Other online sellers such as Flipkart, Saholic and the official Google Play Store (India Edition) too have listed the Nexus 5 on their website, but the sales are yet to commence.
As of now, the smartphone is being sold in America, Canada, UK and seven other select regions through the Google play store. All the markets have witnessed an overwhelming response from the consumers, with the stocks getting sold out within hours after the launch. India is also expected to see the same trend.
Google Nexus 5 sports a 4.95-inch full HD (1080x1920p) display with pixel density of 445 ppi (pixels per inch) and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective shield.
The phone runs on the pure Android stock v4.4 KitKat OS featuring smarter caller ID, more organised message grouping hub - Hangout, low-power audio playback (about 60 hours), quick access to settings, Qucikoffice word document app, Bluetooth MAP (Message Access Profile) and many more.

Under-the-hood, it packs 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor, 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB (non-expandable memory) and 2,300 mAh battery.
The new Nexus 5 also flaunts a 8.0-megapixel main camera and 1.3-megapixel snapper on the front. The primary camera boasts OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), HDR+ (High Dynamic Range) capable of recording full HD video.
