Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" won the "Worst Film" award at the eighth edition of the Golden Kela Awards. It is being said that the superstar will collect the trophy personally.

"Shah Rukh has never shied off laughing at himself. Even during the promotion of 'Dilwale' before release he did spoofs and send-ups on his own film," a friend told SKJ Bollywood News.

This isn't the first time that a celebrity has been a sport enough to accept awards for their worst achievements. Lyricist Anvita Dutt collected the Worst Lyric award for "Ishq Wala Love" ("Student Of The Year").

Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale" was panned by critics and viewers alike. The action-comedy film follows the lives of lovers Mira (Kajol) and Kaali (Shah Rukh) who separate only to meet 15 years later. Kaali's younger brother Veer (Varun Dhawan) and Mira's sister Ishita (Kriti Sanon) help patch up the couple.

The Golden Kela Awards 2016 has an interesting set of winners. While Sooraj Pancholi was named "Worst Actor" (Male) for his average performance in Nikhhil Advani's "Hero," he has strangely been winning at major award ceremonies for the same film.

Sonam Kapoor bagged one for being the shy Rajkumari Maithili Devi in Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo." She was unnoticeable courtesy Salman Khan, who stole the show with his double role as Prem Dilwale and Yuvraj Vijay Singh.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's "MSG 2" walked away with the Most Pointless Sequel/Remake Award; "Bajirao Mastani" picked up the Manoj Kumar Award for Historical "Accuracy."
