A Chandigarh-based woman has filed a cheating case against Coca Cola as the company failed to arrange a date for her with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, according to a report in Pinkvilla.

The beverage maker had launched a promotional campaign way back in 2000, in which the company stated that the lucky winner of the contest will have a date with Hrithik. It has been 15 years that 34-year-old Shikha Monga, then 19, won the contest but is yet to meet Hrithik.

The report says that the girl was offered Rs 5 lakh by Coca Cola as compensation, but she refused to accept it. Eventually, Shikha filed a cheating case against the company in 2003.

The Chandigarh district court, where the case was filed, will now take up the case for hearing on 24 August. The woman has sought Rs 2.5 crore compensation from the company.

Sensing a big marketing scam, the authorities have exempted Shikha Monga from paying the court fee of Rs 2.43 lakh, says the Pinkvilla report.

Hrithik Roshan is currently prepping for his upcoming movie "Mohenjo Daro", which also features Pooja Hegde. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, "Mohenjo Daro" is a historical love story and is being co-produced by Disney India.

Hrithik Roshan's last film "Bang Bang" starring Katrina Kaif did a decent business at the box office and now fans are expecting something different from the star in his upcoming flick.
