Gionee has launched four new smartphones in India and all the models are capable of working on 4G network. The models -- Gionee Pioneer P5L LTE, Gionee CTRL V6L, Gionee Pioneer P4S and Gionee Pioneer P6 -- are expected to hit shelves from the third week of December.

Gionee has also declared that all their future smartphone that are priced ₹10,000 and above will feature 4G LTE functionality next year onwards

Gionee Pioneer P5L LTE is priced at ₹10000 and boasts a 4.7-inch HD display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 GPU, 1GB Ram, 8GB ROM, microSD card for memory extension upto 32GB, Android Kitkat 4.4 OS, 5 MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 4G LTE connectivity and a 1800 mAh battery.

The Gionee CTRL V6L is priced at ₹15,000 and features a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB Ram, 8GB internal memory, Android Kitkat 4.4 OS, Dual SIM slot, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE connectivity, microSD card slot and is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.

The other two models, Gionee Pioneer P4S and Gionee Pioneer P6, are non LTE Android based smartphones and can only support 3G networks.

The Gionee Pioneer P4S houses a 4.5-inch display, while the Pioneer P6 features a 5-inch display. They are also powered by 1,800 mAh and 1,950 mAh batteries respectively. Apart from these two individualities the P4S and P6 feature similar specification.

Powered by a MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core processor, both the devices feature 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera with Android Kitkat 4.4 operating system.

However, the manufacturer hasn't shared any relevant pricing information on these two models. Airtel has already made their 4G networking service available across Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Mohali and Panchkula. Aircel also introduced their 4G service across Tamil Nadu and J&K. Reliance is set to unveil their wireless broadband service across India by sometime next year.
