Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi in southern India, is set to be celebrated on Sept. 5, Monday. Celebrated with much fervour, the festival marks the birthday of Lord Ganesha.

Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day Hindu festival, which comes to a close (mostly) with a colourful visarjan, this is when devotees immerse the beautifully created Ganesha idols in water bodies. The traditions vary from state to state, what remains unchanged is the ganpati dance, which is mostly about breaking into an impromptu jig.

And, just so that you can add some zing to your routine, we have listed out some of the top Bollywood songs you can celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with:

"Thank God, Bappa"

We all want to chant the Ganpati Bappa Morya on Ganeshotsav, but this one's special. Riteish Deshmukh has turned for this number and it's more than flawless. Using the words, he explains how there are people who take advantage of the festival to reap benefits but Lord Ganesha's visit us every year, without fail. The premise sounds serious, but it's quite a bit of fun.

"Bappa"

This track is from Riteish's upcoming "Banjo" and has a rock touch to it.

"Gajanana"

This upbeat number from "Bajirao Mastani" in Sukhwinder Singh's voice is everything. It catches the spirit of the festival well, and makes you want to get up and dance.

"Deva Shree Ganesha"

The chant towards the end of this "Agneepath" song will make you want to soak in all the goodness that the festive season has to offer. It's completely in keeping with Ganesh Chaturthi.

"Hey Ganaraya"

This "ABCD 2" video will help you add some freshness to the ganpati dance routing. In this one, the dancers have done some excellent popping and locking to a rap that praises Lord Ganesha.
