"Game of Thrones" season 6 is going to feature an epic battle scene that will see several houses reuniting to reclaim Winterfell.

Watchers on the Wall sources have revealed that the battle will occur in the penultimate episode of the season 6, and it is not just for control of Winterfell, but the entire North. Many in the production crew are reportedly calling this "The Battle of 6 Armies."

Watchers on the Wall has also identified banners belonging to the Starks, the Mormonts as well as one believed to belong to the Hornwoods.

"The Hornwoods are among the Stark's principal bannermen and their land borders House Manderly and House Bolton. One can be fairly certain there is no love lost between Bolton and Hornwood so their siding with the Starks in the battle to defeat House Bolton and regain Winterfell makes sense," the spoiler forum noted.

In other "Game of Thrones" news, Los Siete Reinos has managed to obtain some specifics regarding the Tower of Joy scene, which is reportedly being filmed in Castila de Zafra in Campillo de Duenas, Spain.

The website confirmed that Isaac Hempstead-Wright was spotted on location, and in all likelihood the Tower of Joy scene will be presented as one of Bran's visions. Also, Los Siete Reinos revealed that two actresses will be involved in filming, and one of them could be playing Lyanna Stark, Eddard Stark's sister who is believed to be Jon Snow's mother.

As fans of George RR Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series already know, the battle at the Tower of Joy is an important event in the book, which has Lord Eddard Stark and six of his companions approaching the tower to rescue his sister Lyanna. However, they find it guarded by three members of the Kingsguard, and the fight that follows just leaves two survivors – Eddard and Howland Reed. Lyanna is found dying in the tower.

The Tower of Joy is believed to hold the clue to Jon Snow's true parentage.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 will return in April.
