The IPL fever has begun. Despite the cricket matches taking a large viewership, several Indian films (even big actors' movies) are releasing this Friday (5 April).

Here is a list of Hollywood, Bollywood and other Indian films getting released.

Bollywood

Chashme Baddoor

"Chashme Baddoor" is a comedy film starring Ali Zafar of "Tere Bin Laden" fame, Siddharth and Divyendu Sharma. The film is about three friends who fall for the same girl. It is the remake of 1981 movie of the same name that became a smashing hit.

Taapsee Paanu makes her Bollywood debut as the female lead in this film. Actor Rishi Kapoor also stars in the film directed by David Dhawan.

Reports suggest that the original (1981) digitally restored film will also be released on the same date.

Rise of the Zombie

Bollywood's first zombie film is all to set to scare people this weekend. The film is co-directed by Devaki Singh and Luke Kenny, who was last seen in "Rock On!"

Hollywood

Jurassic Park 3D

Steven Speilberg's epic film "Jurassic Park" will be re-released in 3D on 5 April to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its release. It is a science-fiction film about an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs.

It was a landmark film in use of computer-generated graphics. "Jurrassic Park" is one of the highest grossing films, collecting more than $920 million dollars worldwide.

The Call

"The Call" is a thriller film starring Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin and is directed by Brad Anderson. It is about a 911 operator who takes a call from a teenager who has been abducted. What she does to save the girl is what the film is about.

Tamil Films

Settai

"Settai" starring Arya, Hansika, Anjali, Santhanam and Premji Amaran is a remake of 2011's Bollywood comedy "Delhi Belly".

The movie is releasing on Friday in a grand scale - across 515 screens in Tamil Nadu. "Settai" directed by Kannan of "Kanden Kadhalai" is the only big Tamil film releasing this week. The original movie "Delhi Belly" was appreciated by critics and also did well at the box office.

With comedy being the theme of "Settai", the film is likely to get a huge response from audiences. The Arya-Santhanam combination has worked wonders for their previous movie. Besides, "Settai" is the only big film releasing this summer which might help boost the its collections.

The dubbed Telugu version of the film titled "Crazy" might be released on the same day or the next day.

Telugu Films

Popular actor Junior NTR is back with his new movie "Baadshah", which is releasing with a record number of prints worldwide on Friday.

The movie is an action film directed by Srinu Vaital. Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead. Expectations are high for the movie, as it has been quite some time since Jr NTR delivered a hit. "Baadshah" will be releasing in more than 100 screens in Hyderabad city alone.

NTR, who plays a young man named Rama Rao, is said to have paid tribute to his grandfather - popular actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR senior) - by grooving to the remix of some of his popular hit songs.

Malayalam Films

Two big Malayalam films are set to clash on the same day.

Emanuel

Mammootty's lal jose film "Immanuel" is about the hardships that the protagonist faces when his employer shuts down the company leaving him jobless. How he manages the situation and how he sees his life in a new perspective forms the crux of the story.

Sound Thoma

The film stars Dileep in the lead role with Namitha Pramod. "Sound Thoma" is a love story about a rich man (Dileep) who has a problem with his voice, while the female lead is a radio jockey with a sweet voice.

Kannada Films

Andar Bahar

The movie is an action film starring Shivraj Kumar and Parvathy Menon in the lead. In a bid to promote the film, the team has launched an android-based mobile application that would give updates about the film releasing this Friday.

Marathi Films

Sanshay Kallol

This comedy film stars Ankush Chaudhari, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Pushkar Shrotri. The film is directed by Vishal Inamdar.

Dankyavar Danka

This is a laugh riot flick starring Makarand Anaspure, Suvarna Kale, Anvay Bendre and Ashwini Ekbote. The movie is directed by Kanchan Nayak

Punjabi Films

Sadda Haq

The film is about a hockey player named Kartar Singh Bazz who becomes a militant owing to circumstances. It is based on real life events that happened during the 1980s to mid 90s.
