This week's single releases were from a mixed bag of artistEs from different genres. From power ballads to downtempo music to mainstream pop, we got to listen to an eclectic set of tunes. Check out our picks of the week here:

"Sick" by Donna Missal

New Jersey-based singer Donna Missal, who released her first viral song "Keep Lying" last year, is back this year with her second single "Sick." It is a brooding downtempo track that capitalises on Misaal's sultry and smokey vocals.

"Without You" by Finding Hope featuring Holly Drummond

San Antonio-based downtempo/ambient/future bass artiste Ashton Davila aka Finding Hope is known for his deep, melodious and pleasant music. "Without You" is a good example of it.

"Go!" by M83 featuring Mai Lan and Steve Vai

This song is the third single from M83's latest album "Junk." Apart from Anthony Gonzalez's carefully crafted electronic, the song is special due to Steve Vai's powerful guitar solo and French singer Mai Lan's trippy vocals.

"I Can't Give Everything Away" by David Bowie

David Bowie is one musician whose music will live on in spite of his death. Almost three months after his death, the latest single from his last album, "Blackstar," was released this week with an animated video created by Jonathan Barnbrook, who also designed the artwork for "Blackstar."

"Wristband" by Paul Simon

"Wristband," from Paul Simon's upcoming album "Stranger to Stranger," is very different from any his previous works. It has influences of electronic music, afro-beat, folk, pop and rock.

"It Just Happens" by Roxette

Swedish power-ballad specialists Roxette are back with a new song. It is the lead single from their upcoming album "Good Karma." The record will be released June 3, 2016.

"Ain't Your Mama" by Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez's new single is an upbeat track that celebrates the lifestyle of being an independent woman. It was written by Meghan Trainor. Lopez debuted this single on the finale of American Idol 2016.
