Kokrajhar, Sep 28 (ANI): Four militants of a banned outfit were killed in an encounter by a joint team of police and army personnel on Sunday in Kokrajhar district of Assam. The militants killed were from National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDBF). Acting on tip-off information, militants were located in the jurisdiction of Kachugaon police station. Huge amounts of arms and ammunition including an AK-47 and round fire magazines were recovered from the militants. Other material recovered from the militants included mobile phones, demand notes and sensitive documents. However, the dead militants have not been identified yet.
