Former Hizbul Mujahideen commander Zakir Musa has released an audio recording on Monday (June 5) urging all Indian Muslims to launch a jihad against cow vigilantes. Earlier, he had severed all ties with the terror outfit after differences cropped up.

"In the name of gau raksha, the blood of Muslims is being spilled," said Musa while adding that they will avenge all killings carried out in the name of gau raksha.

He also slammed Indian Muslims for not joining Islamic jihad for 'Ghazwa-e-Hind' (the final and last battle for the conquest of India).

Two senior Jammu and Kashmir police officers confirmed that the voice in the audio clip shared via Telegram app and WhatsApp groups was Musa's. The 23-year-old militant called for a holy war in his four-minute rant. "It's a war between Islam and the infidel," said Musa.

He further slammed the Indian Muslim by saying, "They are the most shameless Muslims in the world. They should be ashamed of calling themselves Muslims. Our sisters are getting abused and dishonoured and Indian Muslims keep screaming that 'Islam is peace'."

"They (Indian Muslims) are the most 'beghairat qaum' (shameless community) who cannot speak up against oppression and injustice," added Musa.

"Is this what our Prophet and his 'salafs' (followers) have taught us? They gave their blood during the wars and martyrdom for the honour of our sisters," he added.
