A fresh batch spy shots of Ford's 2015 Figo hatchback has emerged online, this time snapped during its usual test in Chandigarh by Motoroids reader Mandy.
In the images, the test mule of the Figo hatchback is seen partly camouflaged. Auto lovers in the country already have a fairly good idea on what to expect from new Ford Figo.
Under the hood, Figo hatchback is expected to 1.2 litre petrol motor and 1.5 litre TDCi diesel engine, which can generate a power of 89bhp and a peak torque of 204Nm. The same which is sold as Ford Ka in Brazil gets power from naturally-aspirated 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, which can churn out a power of 85bhp and peak torque of 10.7kgm. The engine comes mated to five-speed manual gearbox and would be capable of running on gasoline and ethanol.
The new Figo will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Bolt. To be produced at the company's Sanand plant in Gujarat, Figo hatchback is likely to be priced at around ₹4 lakh.
As for features, Figo model is likely to get electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, power windows, Ford's SYNC voice commanded system and dual front airbags.
