Flipkart will continue the annual tradition of Big Billion Day sale, offering steep discounts on a wide range of products including electronics, clothing, TVs, smartphones and more. On Monday, one of the leading online retailers announced the dates for its third Big Billion Day sale, which commences on Oct. 2 and runs for five days to conclude the extravaganza on Oct. 6.
The offers on products will go live when the actual sale begins next month, but there are some noteworthy highlights that build hype ahead of the sale. Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale will see consumer-friendly schemes on products such as no-cost EMI and product exchange.
The upcoming 5-day sale will also witness exclusive partnerships with electronic and smartphone brands to bring best-value deals for shoppers and offer special discounts and cash backs for debit and credit card holders. These tricks will build a strong barrier for its rivals such as Amazon and Snapdeal to fend off during the sale.
"With a vision to create the best shopping experience and bring India together, we are now in our third edition of The Big Billion Days Sale," Kalyan Krishnamurthy, head of category design organization at Flipkart, said in a statement.
"This year, our key focus is to ensure maximum value to our consumers by making quality products affordable and accessible. Great offers and exclusive partnerships will give our customers more options to choose from, and our innovative consumer finance, delivery and installation for large electronics and product exchange programs will only add to the customer delight this festive season," he added.
The continuation of Big Billion Day tradition symbolizes its success and popularity among shoppers. Last year's Big Billion Day festival in October witnessed a total worth of $300 million sold goods in just five days.
