The Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor break-up has everyone talking, but the "Fitoor" actress is busy laying out her onscreen pairing with Salman Khan for people to know.

Talking to BollywoodLife about it, she said they did "Ek Tha Tiger" together, and it was special. People have remembered it, and so, if she were to do another film with him, it would have to be as good as their last one.

"The last film we did together with Kabir Khan was 'Ek Tha Tiger', and it was really very special. It has a good recollection in people's minds and was liked by all. If there is ever a place that we do a film together, it should match the level of 'Ek Tha Tiger'," Kaif elaborated.

However, she rejected the idea that they coming together for a film was enough to make it a hit. No actor, star or onscreen couple is bigger than the script and anyone putting their money on one of the three things is bound to make a big mistake.

"That's the biggest mistake any actor can make, thinking that the pairing is bigger than the script. In my opinion a pairing or a star or an actor can never be bigger than the script. There has to be a script to support you. When I was reading the 'Ek Tha Tiger' script, I loved it; Kabir changed it a bit when Salman came on the board. The pairing was done after the script was ready and that's how it should be," she added.

Kaif will be next seen romancing Aditya Roy Kapur in "Fitoor". Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film releases on 12 February.
