Krish's Journey
Krish made his directorial debut in "Gamyam," which starred Sharwanand, Allari Naresh and Kamalinee Mukherjee in the leads. He won Filmfare and Nandi Awards for his direction.

His next movie "Vedam," which starred Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu, Anushka Shetty and Deeksha Seth, too won critical appreciation and tasted commercial success. He remade this movie in Tamil as "Vanam." But this movie was not a hit at the box office like his earlier films.

Krish returned to his good form with Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal-starrer "Kanche" in 2015. He has also directed a Bollywood film in the form of "Gabbar is Back," which was the remake of Tamil movie "Ramana."

His upcoming "Gautamiputra Satakarni" is a historical fiction, which is the landmark 100th movie of Balakrishna. Shriya Saran plays the female lead in the flick.
