Germany have a difficult group to navigateReuters

Germany will look to top a tough Group G, with the likes of Portugal, Ghana and the USA all capable of toppling any of their opponents.

The Germans are one of the fancied teams to win the title, and they will be keen to enter the knockout stages as group winners. Portugal, on paper, look like the most likely team to join Germany in the last 16 – they could even top the group if Cristiano Ronaldo catches fire – but Ghana and the USA are also quite capable, having reached the knockout rounds in the last World Cup in 2010.
