Group C is a group from which any of the four teams can advance, with Colombia and Ivory Coast probably starting as the slight favourites. Colombia were dealt a major blow after losing their talisman Radamel Falcao to injury, but they still have some seriously talented players.

The Ivory Coast have flattered to deceive in recent tournaments, their "golden generation" failing to live up to the hype, but World Cup 2014 in Brazil might just be their time to stand up and shine. Greece are a team that are notoriously hard to beat and will always be there or thereabouts for knockout contention, while Japan are one of the strongest Asian sides, and a team that can beat any of the other three in Group C on their day.
