It looks like Italian auto maker Fiat is on a launching spree this festive season. The company, which rolled out its powerful Punto hatch and Avventura crossover powered by Abarth earlier this month in India, is now understood to be readying a new limited edition of its Punto Evo.

Dubbed Punto Evo Sportivo edition, the new variant of Punto Evo is expected to hit the showrooms in November and ahead of its arrival, the Team Fiat Moto club has shared the details of the new variant on their Facebook page.

According to the leaked details, Fiat Punto Evo Sportivo -- the limited edition based on Punto Evo base variant will get Sportivo decals, chrome garnish on ORVMs, 15-inch alloy wheels, Sportivo body kit, white roof and door sill plates. There will also be reverse parking sensors and rear roof spoiler on the feature menu.

Coming to the cabin, the upcoming Fiat Punto Evo Sportivo variant will pack mat with Fiat branding, 6.5-inch touchscreen Infotainment system with Bluetooth streaming, GPS with 3D Navigation, door sill plates and seat covers.

Mechanically, Evo Sportivo will remain the same as the current model and will continue to be powered by the 1.2-liter FIRE petrol engine and the 1.3-liter MultiJet engine. The 1.3-litre Multi-Jet diesel engine has the capacity to churn out 75bhp of power and 197Nm of torque, the petrol mill will have the capacity to generate 67bhp of power and 96Nm of torque.
