Amritsar, June 18 (ANI): Families of nationals stranded in Mosul and Tikrit, overrun by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), demanded early return of their children, as they urged the Indian government to take adequate steps in the regard. Parents and relatives of the stranded Indian nationals on Wednesday visited Sikh shrine in Amritsar and prayed for their release. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) fighters who aim to build a Muslim caliphate across the Iraqi-Syrian frontier launched their revolt by seizing Mosul and swept through the Tigris valley towards Baghdad.
